I had interactions with some great physicians at various times while growing up in the small-town of Gans, Oklahoma. I was always inspired by how much of a difference a caring physician could make during difficult times. I have always wanted to be able to make that kind of a positive impact on the lives of others.
The thing that I am most excited for as a physician at Remedy Health is the ability to spend as much time as needed with patients. I have always felt the most important aspect of medicine is forming meaningful relationships and empowering patients to improve their own health through better understanding of their conditions and treatment options. Remedy affords me the opportunity to spend adequate time to form these bonds and provide access to my patients.
When not caring for patients, I enjoy spending time with my wife and three children. My hobbies include fishing, hunting, and scuba diving.

Growing up, I knew that I wanted to be in a profession that helped people and allowed me to form relationships with people in my community. One of my high school teachers, who was a doctor and an ex Army Ranger, piqued my interest in medicine and started me on my road to becoming a doctor. When I was afraid and worried I couldn't do it, my boyfriend (now husband) always pushed me to keep going and to follow my dreams.
My favorite part of Remedy (besides the relationships I get to have with my patients, of course!) is the other people that I work with. All of my coworkers are kind, friendly, and always help me out when I have no clue where to find stuff or how to print from my computer.
When not at work, I spend much of my free time with my husband and 4 year old son. As you can expect, this means you can almost always find us at the park, splash pad, zoo, or with family. We are a classic car family as well, so we enjoy car shows and auctions. I have two dogs (Myrtle the Basset Hound and Callie the Italian Greyhound) and one cat (Kiki the fat loaf that complains all the time). I also enjoy reading, quilting, and hiding from my son while I eat candy.

Jason Macias
Medicine is the perfect blend of my passion for people and science. Upon graduating high school, I joined the U.S. Army. After completing active duty, I served in the Oklahoma National Guard and dove into my studies to become a doctor. My interest began with biomedical science and quickly evolved into an interest in medicine. Starting my education in biology, I was drawn to biomedical science and internal medicine to care for the Tulsa community.
As a Remedy Health team member, I am excited to be able to practice quality medicine and get to know patients without the constraints of a typical practice. I am able to focus on their needs as opposed to having to expedite care and meet quotas.
When I'm not at work, I enjoy staying active and spending time with my wife and family.

Kaitlin Sauser
I grew up in a small town and admired the comprehensiveness of the local family physician to know the patient and their community. At McAlester High School and the University of Oklahoma, I was interested in studying the sciences and especially human physiology and pathology. I went to Oklahoma State University for medical school and did special training in rural Oklahoma that helped me understand the needs of our state. My training at In His Image residency program helped me incorporate my faith into my practice of medicine considering spiritual aspects of health.
At Remedy, I am excited to have the time needed to educate patients and come alongside them in their health journey. In each appointment I strive to make sute sure I felt the patient gained knowledge, perspective, and confidence they did not have before.
When I'm not at work, I love spending time with my husband, RJ, and our daughters, Hattie and Eloise. We all love doing any activity outdoors, family walks, hiking, and going to the lake or ocean.

I'm told by my mom that when I was about 4 years old, I shouted from the back seat of our car "I'm going to be a pediatrician!" - I'm one of those rare people that never changed my mind! Not a single person in my family is a physician, so I must have just been born into this amazing career!
I am most excited to be at Remedy Health because I finally have the time I need to not just take care of my patients' problems, but to truly CARE for my patients!
I have four amazing children ages 6, 10, 14, and 16. I love to run almost every day. I do it for my mental health as much as my physical health. I'm a voracious reader and you'll usually find me surrounded by at least 2 books as well as the one I'm listening to on Audible. I love cooking, although my kids might not agree. Finally, and I truly mean this, my life is all about my patients. They have really become extended family to me.

I am an “Okie,” born and raised in Oklahoma. I was a competitive gymnast and collegiate cheerleader which developed my passion for health and exercise. I loved math and science and the two combined lead me to my interest in medicine and becoming a PA before many people even knew about a Physician Assistant. I graduated with a Bachelors in Nutritional Science from Oklahoma State University and then went on to attend the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine to complete my Master’s degree in Physician’s Associate. I have practiced as a PA in Family Medicine since 2007, seeing mostly adolescents and adults with a passion for women’s health.
I am excited to be a part of the Remedy Team. After facing a health challenge myself, I learned the importance of having the time and empathy to listen to my patients to provide the most accurate diagnosis; this model of medicine will allow me to provide this care. I love to teach, educate, and partner with my patients to obtain their best health.
I enjoy spending time with my husband and three daughters. We also live on land with chickens, fruit trees, and a garden. We have two dogs, a bloodhound, Rosie and a Golden Retriever, Rocky as well as a bunny, Flop! I love to travel, cook, and exercise and watch my girls doing the sports they love! We have attended Life.Church for over 20 years. Go Pokes!!
